NBA Suspends Shaun Livingston, Referee Courtney Kirkland

But, upon further review, the league seems to have determined Kirkland was the more guilty party. Kirkland has been removed from the NBA's officiating rotation until December 10 and Livingston will be suspended for tonight's Warriors game against the Pelicans. 

Golden State's 28-point win over Miami in the National Basketball Association has been overshadowed by a controversial incident involving Shaun Livingston and a referee.

During the incident, the National Basketball Association says Livingston and Kirkland bumped heads. There was 6:24 left in the second quarter at the time.

NBA's official release noted Livingston will serve the suspension Monday during Golden State's contest against the New Orleans Pelicans.
